About Ok, this isn't the best composition, but considering this is only the 2nd time out on a kayak for me and Sugar, plus trying to take a picture with a camera in a watertight bag and keep the kayak on track at the same time... I think it's quite an accomplishment. Besides, just look at how much fun Sugar is having being captain of my little vessel! We had a great day and I just had to capture a little memory of it. This was taken at the mouth of the Gualala River where it dumps into the Pacific Ocean off Hwy 1 (see the bridge at the top of the photo? That's the famous Hwy 1 that runs along the coast of California). Captain Opie and his daddy can be seen in the kayak ahead. :)

Like having both boat and captains in this shot. I am glad that you both have some good help. I have been over that bridge back in the 60's when I was traveling.
color of the water is really nice. Slow ISO brings out those colors. Nice shot out of the bag.
Be well, Stan

GREAT photo. Adventure, with the kayaking jacks and sunny days.

I've always been amazed at how those little Olympus cameras go places you wouldn't take anything else. So, how were you blessed with a third hand to hold on to everything?

Looks like the kind of river I would love to paddle my canoe down! Nice capture!! Gotta love your "captain".
