bloody good; one question Peter I'm interested in buying a macro, being a canon-man i'm in doubt between the 60mm and 100mm; any suggestion?

Hi Txules,

I use the 100mm for some time now, it's a great lens (and quite compact) but quite difficult to use .. on tripod, and with still scenes (and not too much wind), i manage to squeeze out decent shots, but i've given up for now on moving insects and so, or using it without tripod .. so i cannot say it has become my favorite lens yet .. the 70-200 F4L + extension rings works very well too for close-ups .. so i have not decided yet if i will keep it.

The 60mm i don't know ..

Peter

Txules, I found a Canon EF 35-70 film lens from 1987 that is Zoom Macro. So far so good. Have some good hand held experiences. The film lens on a Rebel equates to about a 50- 110mm. Seems to be easy to use so far. A used camera supply or ebay. Got mine on ebay for under $75. Just a thought. Good all around lens. Be well, Stan

Great colorful shot. Love the red background , really adds some pop to the yellow flowers. Nice composition and detail!
Be well, Stan
