Great view.
Beautiful geological phenomena, as the whole volcanic MonoLake is, but how would it be in color ?
kind regards, Paul

Hi Paul, thanks for stopping by. to answer your question, there wasn't much color to show in this shot, the clouds, though seems pretty, didn't catch much of the sunrise colors yet at the time I shot it and therefore I pre-visualized this as a b&w image...

Hiya, Debjit... thanks for the warm welcome back... I have been mostly traveling for the past 6 months and focusing on taking photographs... so hopefully I can be around a bit more.

As you know, I always love your Mono shots... this being no exception... have to be in LA in a week or so and really have thought about heading north to Mono and Yosemite again as a photo trip.... and you are not doing your part in discouraging me... :)

Debjit Ghosh   {K:3366} 7/21/2008
hahaha....Dave, I never feel tired of those places...they draw me like magnet :-) when do u plan to be there, i might drop sometime very soon, again :-)

Tommaso
