Hello dear Harry, I prefer the color version it has more life to it. This is one of my favorites from you lately my dear.
Big hug and kiss,
Julie.

Julie,

Are you born in NYC or in Brasil ?
Where ?
I had a neighbour from brasil a few years ago.
He was a prof footballplayer called Claudio.
Once his family was over and the whole building was filled with special smells at diner time ! :-)

Wow, brasil ... bet you can dance well !

Abraco e um beijo

Harry

The overexposure of the top left, despite the overburning of some details, did also something very nice, Harry, as it strengthened the contrasts of the many different lines in the foreground. I find this very well fitting the coloring of "older days" - so it looks to me. But most of all I find the timing very good. (Again in the documentary stream?) It conveys very well one of those small moments of everyday life in the streets.

Cheers!

Nick

Hello dear Harry,
I was born in Brazil but I am an American Citizen as well. I have been here for a very long time. I was born in the Northeast of Brazil in city called Maceio (state is Alagoas).

Yeah, I would say I am a really good dancer ;)

Beijos querido :)

Off to buy my new 50mm 1.8 now. Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Julie.

Its a bit between a photo and a cartoon Nick.
Thanks for the comment.

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:89027} 7/22/2008
The "cartoon component" escapes my view yet. What is cartoon-like here? :-/

Cheers!

Nick

Like they have been drawn with ink ..

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:89027} 7/23/2008
Aaah, yes! Now I see that too! You mean a comics novell rather, ey? Not a cartoon like for example Donald Duck but a more "grown up" kind of comics.

Thanks a lot for clarifying that to me! I wish I could get a whole series of images this way, but still I'm trying out things without much success.

Cheers!

Nick

"P.S.: Don't think, just try... If we, as human beings, stayed on that level, we would be still running with clubs through the forests, believing that our "reasons" for some phenomenon are just because we tried and found out once again that some god or demon makes it work. Sorry, I am not very enthusiastic about that approach. I think further..."

OK ,keep thinking !
Cheers

You bet I do, Harry! Or should I use that wobbling thing in my head as a "nice to have", ey??? ;-)

Cheers!

Nick
