The Makam Pahlawan (Malay: Heroes' Mausoleum) is the burial ground of several Malaysian leaders and politicians. It is located near the Malaysian national mosque, Masjid Negara in the national capital, Kuala Lumpur. Construction of the mausoleum began in 1963 under its project of the construction of Masjid Negara and was completed in 1965. Makam Pahlawan is a 7-pointed star concrete roofed structure. In 1973, Tun Dr Ismail became the first Malaysian leader laid to rest here.

great full and thankful I am for your adds on,in Arabic,we do use the same word Makam for the same purpose,but for different kinds of men,we use it for saints,prophets,and mens or women of mysticism,the word Makam,is a pure Arabic,my best regards, Saad.

Malaysia is mainly muslim, with christian and probably hindu minorities. Also food stalls have halal food. Harry
