Again good details and colors, but the chosen part of the view... composition again, Saad. Half things, no integrity, a bit of this a bit of that. It simply looks like point and shoot. I think that either concentration of *one* of those patterns as a macro, or the *whole* scene was needed.

Cheers!

Nick

thank you dear Ania, every shop that sell this sweets have a man standing in front of the shop and holding a dish filled with small pieces of the sweet for test to the customers, you have to try before buy,my regards,
Saad.

Saad Salem   {K:62435} 7/30/2008
Hi Nick, this is a crop from the whole seen which include the whole shop,I do the cropping to convert the seen to an abstract, with concentration on the sweet only, may be the next visit to the bazaar I will do exactly what you said, thankfully,
Saad.

Saad Salem   {K:62435} 7/30/2008

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:126737} 8/5/2008
It doesn't carry any of the typical essence of an abstract, Saad, even with a crop. But what was the original like? Do you still have it? Any chance to attach it?

Waiting excited for your next shot of the bazaar!

Cheers!

Nick

Saad Salem   {K:62435} 8/18/2008
the winds comes in a way not desired by the ships,
I don't like my second and true attempt for a real abstract, and I think you will not like it too,it goes out of focus,

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:126737} 8/19/2008
But the ships have engines and propellers so that they don't depend on the wind.

The attached image really needed focus and also more contrast. I sharpened it a bit and raised contrast by level adjustment. (Attachment) I think it should go to that direction though the attchment still isn't satisfactory. The hues are very diffcult here.

Cheers!

Nick

Sharpened it a bit and adjusted levels for more contrast

Saad Salem   {K:62435} 8/19/2008
honestly ,you have revived the defect, and I thank you for that,my regards,
Saad.

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:126737} 8/20/2008
Oh well, it was meant more as the direction toward which the image could go, Saad, but not really the target.

But I am glad if you find it OK.

Cheers!

Nick

Saad Salem   {K:62435} 8/20/2008
Hi Nick, this is the original one,

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:126737} 8/21/2008
Thanks a lot for the attachment, Saad!

But hey, the original was much much better than the partiall view. Why did you cropped that? This one is a very good image of a scene in some shop and the half boy at the left adds great tension too. Only the man at the right is a bit problematic, but still the image was lightyears ahead that brown thing we see on the cropped one.

I only sharpened the hair of the boy on the attachment (for a somewhat more "definite" look).

Cheers!

Nick

Sharpened the boy's hair a bit

Saad Salem   {K:62435} 8/21/2008
thank you Nick,as you said it is the half man that is a step ,regards,
Saad.

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:126737} 8/22/2008
You are very welcome, Saad! I see what you mean.

Cheers!

Nick
