Dear Mohsen - I understand your feeling of texture here but for me the light, shadow and shapes are the most outstanding in this image - the texture is good , but the shapes of the shadows are most outstanding - very nice image in my opiniln my dear friend !

The absolutely balck shadow generates a good contrast with the highlights, Mohsen. It could cover a bit less of the image, though then the kind of perspective it supports now might also have a weaker appearance. I think the geometry of the shadows, as they are now, boost the diagonal direction of the wall from the foreground to the background. Though this is not a very "steep" perspective the shadows put that touch on it.
The wall has nice details on the highlightsand the typical look and feel of heavy stone has been caugh very well too. Again, it gets an extra boost from the black lines that extend over it.
The whole atmosphere has something of the typical feel of such places like cathedrals, etc, which seem to live from the strong contrasts of the light/shadow games.
I attach a tighter crop just for asking you if it won or if it lost something this way.

I like both the versions actually, your version is much symbolic and close, but the black area works only as a presentation and did not help the eyes to deal with the highlighted contrst. and in my version, the black area is just so much, yeah, and it's a lil server of istraction. maybe a crop between my version and yours is the best for this shot.

that is great... of course the detailed wall however the lighting angle adds on the details and the texture feeling and also the window shape adds even more here, really an excellent 'catch' Mohsen, that photo proofs the good eye of the photographer that trying to find something more than JUST a click on the shutter, excellent.

I don't know why you say this is not a 'good work'...it sure catches my eye...love the contrast, the textures, the details of the etchings, what a beautiful cathedral, I can only imagine how the whole wall looks, I also like the shapes...including the black framing the light, excellent sharpness, the abstract quality is striking...you did 'a very good work' IMHO dear Mohsen, I hope you are well..warm regards, Linda
