Location City -  Denali Nat Park
State -  ALASKA
Country - United States   United States
About Early on our trip close to the Arctic Circle we visited Denali Nat. Park in Alaska. Much of the time it was raining, snowing or foggy....but there were times when a hole of light streamed into the valley. I just had to be ready, camera in hand.
The boulder in the lower left is about the size of a city block and left there when the Glacier receded dropping it where it lies now.

Beautiful, dramatic shot, Tim. With the way the glaciers are receding, I guess there'll soon be a few more gigantic boulders around for photographers to capture. On the bright side, the weather in Alaska and Canada might improve a bit as the globe warms up.
