About A young girl in the old street of Xingping village.

I used the channel mixer in PS CS2 to desaturate this image, which seems to work better than simply going to grayscale or using the desaturate command, however this method was less than perfect for some other images that I will soon upload.

If anyone has any alternate methods of desaturating images, I'd be happy to hear about them.

You're right Alison. While I was on this old street taking photos, this girl was not pleased I was taking her photo. After this one I just left her alone. Usually the kids in China will jump in front of the camera, but sometimes not.
