About This is one of my first shots I tried shooting in RAW. I also used a technique called 'exposing to the right' in order to shoot at really high ISO (this is shot at 1600) with relatively low noise.

I'm intrigued with the concept of 'exposing to the right'; could you elaborate?

Paul Lara   {K:86864} 11/11/2008
Ah. I found it on Wikipedia. Cool.

Roderik Koenders   {K:2731} 11/11/2008
Hi, I see you already found it, but luminous-landscape also had a great essay on it: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/expose-right.shtml (I am in no way affiliated to that site, other than an avid reader :-) ). Let me know when you do some experiments with it! Have fun.

I immediately understood its practical implications, and now I want to go try it out. ;)

Thanks, Roderik. I also enjoy luminous Landscape for its breadth of materials.
