u r absolutely correct about ur observation. it was a quick moment before he smiled at the lens. so i was in a hurry. ideally the focus should be on the eyes which i tried. but i was in a hurry because he was all to keen to smile which i didnt want. thanks.

diptanshu roy   {K:1059} 10/21/2008
its a very personal take. i dont quite agree to it. besides sometimes u are forced to choose a big aperture due to light conditions. this ones shot at 1.8 and 30

diptanshu roy   {K:1059} 10/21/2008
i know about the grains bit. no scanner in the world can add grains! i wish they could. because i love grains.

Arindam Ghosh   {K:1188} 10/21/2008
I think you are not getting me... in your pic due to the gap between two heads / body the upper part of the picture is being devided into two parts and breaking the link ... If you take the same picture almost with the same alignment of the main subject the gap could be avoided.... again in low light condition and with a big aperture you need to focus in the eye of your main subject...

Thanks ..Rgrds

First of all, My name is INDRANIL not indraneel.

Sorry to hear from you Diptanshu about "Randomly Commenting" things. I tried to share my feelings after seeing your image. You are not my enemy or I am not that kind of person who will intentionally pick flaws in your photographs. I dont know what brings you to take such a conclusion about my comments.

Whatever, today I have seen your portfolio first time and I really like few portraits, specially the cigarette smoking woman and model shootings.

Whatever, Still I AM VERY SORRY TO COMMENTING ON YOUR PHOTOGRAPH. I WILL NOT DO SUCH A MISTAKE AGAIN.

Thank You
Indranil

indranil...
anyone is free to comment or not comment on the site. its a free world man. i put up photographs to get a opinions of other photographers. because sometimes its diffiuclt to find our own mistakes. u had said 'i didnt like the POV that much'. i was just wanting to know how i could have bettered it according to you. or why u didnt like the POV. u still havent answered my question... in-spite of much prodding.

thats all...
cheers no hard feelings.
