Might be a tad dark, depending on your tastes and your monitor (although it is intended to be dark) but bad ambient light? No, certainly not.

Great monkeyshines! I like everything about this -- the tones, the light, the way you've composed. Everything seems to be exactly right -- it all fits together as a whole and I am not sure it needs the detail that more light would give it. Might get too complicated and difficult to convey. I do like the light on the rail and ankle!
