what a beauty!...and the iris bud creeping up the side just adds more interes to the flower...I'm jealous I have a huge patch of iris and none bloomed this year...the detail on the center is beautifully captured, the angle is good to pick up the irs shape, but it is the lighting that makes it work...it's almost like morning light (?)...well seen and well captured

Ken, I love doing flowers myself so I really appreciate this one. It's like a variation on a classic pose which highlights the yellow part of the flower (wish I knew its biological name!).
