Excellent candid portrait, Marcio! I like the expression you've caught here.

His skin is beautifully lit!

Good in timing and also tonal range, but not at the heights of your usual perfection and impact, Marcio. The composition looks a bit unfinished, the strong plasticity of your other images is there but to a less degree, and if I am not mistaken there is some kind of halo over the right half of his face. (??) Did it need moire contrast? I don't know.

Good but having seen all your other great images, this doesn't quite reach your unimaginably high levels of quality. Still a good one, though.

Cheers!

Nick

You right , the monitor lcd that I did the settings for this picture was very poor contrast..maybe it was that.
I thought the image was no details on the hair and face and then I Overworked it in the settings..

You mean the settings of the camera, Marchio?

Cheers!

Oh... so, do you also have the original? If yes, could you please attach it?

Cheers!

Nick

Sure!
Here is the original without any adjustment...

Thank you very very much, Marcio!

In this case... I just can't suggest anything at all. The original seems to me as good as it could have ever been. Perhaps a bit more contrast and tighter framing? (Attachment.)

Sorry, Marcio. To say that it needs refinement is easy. To say what refinement it needs... a bot harder. Still trying to see what could be done better.

Nick

Adjusted levels for contrast, cropped it tighter
