Well, I prefer to call mine a hairstyle! And as they say, grass never grows on a busy street... I do like the portrait, very strong. But as a photographer I want to reach to the HDR slider to lighten those shadows and the retouch brush to put some highlights in your eyes. (grin)

yes i can see your point, but i am trying to remain faithful to look of the painting intended by the artist Joe Coffey. He wanted mystery and dark mood leaving some things to the imagination. Like does this guy have a full body of tattoos, was he just let out of jail?...lol...

Heh, reminds me of a cartoon version of Old Man and the Sea I have on DVD. The whole thing was done with paints, photographed while still wet and then manipulated to form the next image/frame. Looks like it's out of print:
