Michael...I was looking on your site at the Monongahela National Forest, West Virginia shot and this is going to sound crazy but I think we may have been there on the very same day or very closely. I was there on 10/14/07 and have shots that are almost identical to the one you have too. How crazy is that?? Even crazier is I was just working on a couple of those today. Crazy right?!?!?!?

I don't remember the exact date, but those shots of Monongahela National Forest were taken in October of 2007. The waterfalls were shot shortly after sunrise, and was the highlight of my trip!

Magnificent landscape and shot very excellent. I guess you took a hundreds of shots there. I would like to be there =) Great composition and exposure. I wonder how would it look on Velvia.

I did shoot this scene on both Provia and Velvia 50, and my preference was Provia. Provia seems to have a little more exposure lattitude. I spent about three days in Aspen, and this was taken on the last day of our trip. I only shot three rolls of film at this specific location, at 10 shots per roll.
