i remember this from when i ran into you on photo.net. this is one of the best memento mori photos i've seen in a long time. the near alignment of her face and the skull, her beauty in the gentle light, the skull's position near the edge of the frame and in deep shadow: all done excellently. perhaps the best of it is the pure simplicity and harmony of the image: no extraneous details, and just a mild skew to the framing to add tension. excellent.
