The muted colours are glorious, it's a pity that such a place with all it's personal history, has been allowed to get into this state. I think I understand why this series is so important to you.
Regards, Gary

to start with ,those lives in the house are important to me,then came the house, and after the last one departs the house ,it came to me that this house needs to be documented, since all the famous and old house of the old Mosul have gone to ashes with out any trace or memory, and I will return back again,if the lord will,my best regards,
Saad.

Museeb Jasim   {K:141} 3/1/2009
Yes, it is a great documentary photos, but as I think some of the photos need a little perspective correction due to lens deformation.
( You have not to forget the camera bag in front of you and capture it ! ).

Saad Salem   {K:62721} 3/1/2009
Yes Museeb,I haven't forgot the camera bag, that is why I have put this photo under At Work categories, you could check it,
about the the lens deformity, you have to think your opinion, mine is that I am standing at the long side of a triangle taking shot to the other perpendicular two sides,
besides all the walls are bulging to the outside from one area ,and to the inside from other area, thank you for your interest in our heritage,my best regards,
Saad.

Hi! Saad, This must once have been a very lavish and important house, with all this marble dressing and collanades, it's such a sad end for something that holds so many happy memories for you and such a pity to see a building of such quality and history allowed to decay. It's great that you have taken time out to document its demise for posterity. Kindest regards, Jim.

Saad Salem   {K:62721} 3/4/2009
thank you so much James,I guess you have very properly ,and fairly estimated the value of this old house,it is the last of its kind, unfortunately for this house the people at my country are taking care for themselves safety ,and not for their properties, thank you so much for the fine support,
be well,
Saad.
