All of the shots in this study are fascinating Saad and provide us with an insight into life in this old house in Mosul, although I know we could never truly understand unless we have lived there. Thank you so much for sharing it with us my friend. Kind regards and warm hugs from Scotland. All the best, Jo :)

Thank you Garry,in the contrary,I have seen it in action ,my grandmother used when I was between 4 and six years to use it for leaching lentil from its black cover, and it was the last time I have seen it,until I have seen it again in this house,
just because I do not want to disturb the seen,it consists of the two special and heavy stones, with a pit in the center where they put the grains, and with a handle to rotate it,you can see the place of the handle at four o'clock at the upper surface,
my best regards,
Saad.
