I like this. I think that the composition might be better if some of the left side and bottom were cropped off. But this is just an opinion and I dont' know if you hade time to consider such things before your subjects left!

Really the confrontation of the heron and the ducks is funny. The colour in the beak of the heron livens up the image, and draws the eye the right way.

I am not sure why such a low rating on the composition...I think that if you cropped just a bit off the left it would draw more attention to the heron...your color is good...fairly true and your lighting is not bad, but a circular polarizer would probably help some...I think if you took the image and flipped horizontally viewers would be more comfortable with the composition moving from upper left to lower right...just a thought....a great capture thought
