About The large building on the left is the Yasukuni Shrine (just a stone's throw from my office) where Japanese war dead are enshrined. I was there for the cherry blossoms, but after I had taken this panorama an officious security guy told me I couldn't. (Ha!) As about 20 others were taking photos of everything in all directions at the same time I asked him "Why me?" but he wouldn't answer.

Thank you very much, Saad! This was a very difficult panorama to make... the dynamic range was too great, so I had to do a lot of post processing. Also there were people at the seams where I stitched images together, and that meant a lot of detailed work deleting bits and pieces of bodies. The colour turned out nicely--I'm so glad you noticed.
