It was the vignetting that caught my attantion right from the thumb, Pablo, and the big image is even more fascination in this special light under that vignetting. It has something very old fashioned and the rainy weather (what a reflection on the wet background!) together with the partial focus and very very good details of the main chaaracter fit so well for that too.
Actually the details and the timing match each other also very well. They bind up tightly with each other in a case of a study of human expression on a profile rather than portrait image. Which returns me to the softened background where the main actor seems to be looking at with that expression between thoughts and an empty mind.
The exposure balance was extremelly well balanced. It kept the food details on all the range of light. Perhaps a slightly bigger DoF could make even more out of the texture of her hair.
Extremelly well taken, Pablo! BTW, did you directed her to stand this way?
