But I am sure everything is going to be all right, he has all my love and strength, we will go through this together...

Congrats on the BiP award my dear. Well deserved. And you know me, I deleted my BiP because besides the congratulations there is the ethical human aspect. A true human being in distress, numb, in fear, pain or other feelings. I always feel the UF staff should be more considerate.
I was very busy, full of plans to rebuild one of my spare rooms in a photostudio but I ran to fast. Last days I walk 5 meters in house and have to take a rest. So coming days I will still publish photos but I HAVE to do meditation, contemplation ( look inside, let the soul feel my body ).
etc. Doing the laundry takes me 3 days :-(
I'll get there, with or without docter ( I rang him last week monday, secretary told he was on vacation for 2 weeks and no replacement available ) so i decided myself to increase the intake of the anti dep meds. The docter can get stuffed.
Visit me ( spirit ) if u like , I'll do my best to appear back in ur dreams.

Hi Srna,
An excellent composition and pose. You got the exposure on the eyes and face nicely. The eyes are the strength of the image.
But, am I the only one that has noticed that most of the hair is not exposed well? There is no detail in at least seventy percent of his hair.

Hi Srna,
I know there is a style of portrait where the hair or most of the hair is blacked out into the background on purpose. (like those famous old Beatle's album covers for example) But, I know this is not what you were aiming for in this case, because you have a light background. That's why I pointed out the problem. The key to bringing out the highlights in dark hair is in the lighting. Sometimes we get lucky and sometimes we have to create the situation. Rather than me trying to explain something that I am not an expert on. I have included a url from a site on lighting portraits. Check out the example of the portrait of the actor and pay particular attention to the highlights in his hair. http://www.portraitlighting.net/example1_1b.htm
This sort of problem exists with black hair, black fur, black feathers. It's all a matter of correct exposure. In your case, the camera's built in meter system chose the correct exposure for what it believed to be the most important part of the image. Nothing wrong with that, but it is always a compromise. Manipulated lighting, can help to have the entire image in taken with all the detail you need.
