Well captured....i like it

I think this is stunning. Very strong colors and contrast. Were the eight images portrait style? Did you use a bracket on the tripod or just straight up?? Great work.
be well, Stan

Well done pano, Tim, and the colour and detail is very good. It looks good against the background of the sky that you've kept from being blown out, too.
Dave.

I joined them in PS3, hand held in portrait position...but really you can just shoot with abandon and let the PS3 figure it out

I joined them in PS3, hand held in portrait position...but really you can just shoot with wild abandon and let the PS3 figure it out

Your hand held is a very good reckless, I still am PS2 and not that kind of result. Congrats.
Stan.

Yes in the PS2 days I used PT GUI pano software....PS3 has really made it happen and soooo... allowed me to be more spontaneous...I really am not a tripod guy. Dont even own one.

Running Mac OSX and no gui for me. I have gotten some luck with Canon software that came with camera. Easier than PS. Almost seemless , but not like this one. I use tripod for some things, I am old and shaky. Keep it up, enjoy the travels!!
Be well, Stan

Hi Stan,

well in PS3 it is automatic joining....so give it a try is you have that version. The versions before PS3 did not do this very well at all.
I guess that is why Mac doesn't interest me, it is so limited as to what software is available. But then most seem so happy with mac's.....
