Very nice photoart... beautiful lines and colors. Well seen & executed. The dry-brush effect works nicely, however I would still like to see the original which I'm sure is equally as nice. 7/7

I am second to Brigitte in liking to see the original of this fine composition,
Saad.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments - I know that fiddling with PS effects is severely deprecated by many photographers, but it's also true that some of the World's most accomplished photographers used the darkroom as part of their art before PS was ever conceived (albeit with consummate skill). I'm in the experimentation stage.

And congrats to Brigitte for her FEATURED CRITIQUE!

As requested. here's the original, same crop as the dry-brushed one.

Best wishes,

Anthony

Thank you Anthony... I also agree with everything you said. Seeing the original, I found it interesting that it looks like a painting also... really beautiful landscape! :-) Keep posting, I love your photography and photoart!

Ah we chatted about PS and it misuse (personal opinions of it).
This a the perfect example of it's proper use. I like what you have done with PS here even more than the original. This composition was begging to be converted and you did this one to the 'T' so to speak.
I'd have this final image done using oil, printed on canvas, then mat and frame it appropriately before adding an huge price tag to it. This gets a 3 thumbs up from me. ;)
(you need to do more fog ;) )

Anthony Lound   {K:6586} 7/4/2009
Thank you Barbara and Roberto!

Randy, thanks for your thoughtful and complimentary comment.

Actually I've got a friend who is a painter and she is doing precisely what you suggested with this image. She saw it in my portfolio!

Yes, I need more mist, LOTS OF IT! Haha!

Regards,

Anthony
