Well its an awesome photo!! looks like almost an HDR shot :) I love the lighting from the flash, as it mixes in whith the background and your skins, i think the color of your clothes makes it blend in nicely as well, hmmmmm for lighting wise, id give you the 7/7,actually the whole shot a 7!  (bar the flash in the glasses tho) oh and great focus and close up!!! must be a great camera these Rebels, i was looking into them a wile ago but never ran with it :)

That is just so cool :) I love the way it is taken, the motion which is captured, the real feeling of an activity happening, the gŕeat child in front and as well the warm feeling given thanks to swimming costume. I love background, feeling of a summer and playing on the beach, clouds those do not look that "friendly" right that moment and make the whole image a bit more dramatic. Well, for today my number one :))

I have been reading a book about photography, it is called 'exposure' and it is written by Jeff Wignall(of course there are plenty things we already know without the help of this book..)Anyway, this picture is the result of my reading of one of his chapters.I used very small aperture ( I think it was 22 ) , high ISO ( 400) , flash with low light ,and the shutter speed was also very quick.I also got lucky, CLOUDS at midday, tha happiness of every photographer!THANK YOU SOOOOO MUSHHH!Kisses from the hot island!

I would title it three teeth and an eyeglass,
the fill flash has done its job in agood way,its main advantage is its reflection on the eyeglass which is so beautiful addition to the beautiful shot,

The kids face right in the left corner of the frame really makes it a different shot. The flash actually worked good here...offcourse as you said cloudy sky helped you. a very nice and different picture for sure.
