Rashed, this structure reminded me of the Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV's ship in which he descended on Arrakis, ostensibly to level the rebels!

It's an Imperialesque piece of architecture, of dominance and power and ostentation.

My best as usual,

Anthony

You know me Rashed, I get opinionated, and why not? Art is all about causing emotional responses, and the artist's duty is to encourage, even provoke them. In this example, you did your duty, as an artist for whom I have the greatest respect.

In my very personal opinion, this structure is hideous. It's Orwellian. It's ignorant. It's a totem. It's just THERE. I shouldn't be surprised if the Thought Police were sneaking around the shadows and crevices within...

This building will be demolished within 20 years, and soon forgotten. And to my mind it's troubling to reflect on the fact that the vast majority of C 20-21 architecture is complete rubbish.

It's striking to witness perfectly ordinary people arrested, spontaneously, and in genuine wonder, at the sight of architecture of earlier times. I saw it in Rome recently, when everyone completely ignored the modern sculptures interposed among the real masterpieces of architecture and sculpture in the Forum.

It's impossible to be more eloquent than they.

Yours Ever,

Anthony

Oh, and by the way Rashed, please don't delete your work here. I shall take a dim view, if you do it again :P

My very best wishes to a great artist,

Anthony

Fantástico el efecto en ojo de pez, muy bien usado en este caso.
