About This is a portrait of a young woman taken at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair in 2004. I think her expression captures the feeling of excitement that exists at these festivals.

I apologize, I haven't been here much at all on Usefilm lately - I have been insanely busy - I have had two one-man shows of my work so far this year and another three are opening next Wednesday (all three of them).

Last year I had a show of my flower work at a library in tough part of town. While hanging that show I was surprised when the library filled with kids around mid afternoon. I then thought, "these kids don't give a sh.... er don't care about flowers - what can I put in here that they would really like? Hmmm... how about Renaissance Faire pictures?" Thus the idea for the three shows I have starting July 1. The show at that library is titled "In Days of Old When Knights Were Bold" and features jousting, singing, dancing and merriment. The second show is at the Beau Quest gallery and is titled "The Majical Box With the Glass Eye." It has a similar theme to the first show but less jousting and more merriment. My third show is at the local Barnes & Noble bookstore and is titled "Anachronistic Portraits of an Elizabethan Age" and consists of (surprisingly) portraits.

Unfortunately, the ISO information is missing from the EXIF data and so is unknown.

You got her ride on time!!
Nice pic and expression. A hard capture 'cause of light passing trough the hat.
Well done, congrats, Judson.
