Well observed, a good abstract, black and white was the right choice. Slightly reminiscent of a flower.

Greatly captured tones and details on this pentagonal simple object over such a smooth hue gradient on the background ceiling. Except for some pixelation in some contours of the object the details are crispy and the lines are clear and smooth. Most of all I am impressed about the already mentioned subtle gradients on the ceiling which seem to complement the pentagonal symmetry so well. BTW, did you include only the lamp or also the ceiling in your DoF?

thanks a lot for the comment, yea i tried to include ceiling because it gives grainy effect which ads more into this picture
