I like the eye you captured.. just one regret, the blurry effect probably due to the zoom lens coupling with the "slow" shutter speed. With such lens, you have to work with at least 1/200 or use a tripod.
Anyway, I really like the eye of this monkey.

Good shot, have you tried a closer crop? A crop around the face might give an interesting look.

You caught a great moment here, it's difficult to get the animals when they are looking your direction.

Hiya Marnie, it's great to see you here. I hope that you and Doyle are keeping well.

This is a very well detailed wildlife portrait and you have captured great eye contact. We can see that there is a fair degree of intelligence lurking behind that stare. This gorilla KNOWS.
