My dear Ray,

What a great capture and expression of joy dear Srna
And also with showing hearts around the image by Nicki and you. Happy B-day also to Ray.
I find a lot of added value in your image, apart from being made with the heart, the focus is on her reflected portrait. Reflected light filters out those tiny details and impurities of the light we do not always like to see.
As reflexions often filter out our mixture of thoughts to the best things which deserve to remain !
Your composition is stunning both in making use of DOF (softening the very close listening ear on the forefront bringing the eyes even more in focus as rarely seen before in an image. The portrait composition is also brilliant and such complementary. I notice how the profile shape is so nicely separated from the facial shape with the hair as natural buffer. This so original and different from a simple repetition.
In my opinion this portrait deserves an award at least I think it is outstanding and how quality in art should be recognised and awarded.

Thank you my sweet angel for this lovely portrait dedicated to my birthday. I am having a fairly quiet day today. All the excitement occurred yesterday when my whole family arrived on the doorstep as part of a very well kept secret. My children with their partners and all seven grandchildren. Absolutely wonderful and totally chaotic  .
I love the work that you do with this lovely friend of yours and in particular this is an excellent portrait study. The pof is superb with the main focus on the mirror reflection. The tones are beautiful and so natural and her expression with that radiant smile is just gorgeous. The composition/crop is perfect and the detailing excellent. Well done to you my lovely friend. I will catch up as soon as possible with you but I shall be tidying up on UF before I take my 'holiday break.' Once again thank you so very much my sweet girl.
