This scene can be described as life. The path is what is known and where it leads is based upon your ethics and upbringing. The light shining through the trees from above can be construed as an omnipotent source guiding you through the trials and tribulations of life. If one stays in the light he will arrive at his ultimate destination. The dark and thick underbrush which is off the path represents danger and the unknown if one were to stray off the path.
