A good one for its string contrasts in darker, mature tones and also well composed, Turi. The background seems a bit "strange" this way... it reminds me of stobe but it could also have been some artificially generated texture. The exposure balance was too difficult, I guess, and so the best possibility was to let it look this way with a rather dark arrangement of natural objects and a rather light background. Good tension, after all. Only that partially taken ornage leaf near the bottom right seems to not really belong to the composition.

Cheers!

Nick

Thanks for your comment nick, I'm glad you like it, though you perish rare orange leaf is composed well, I wanted to give a sense of continuity but has the pattern itself and if the fund is well placed to create tension that you call.

Hmmm... Your explanation sounds to me a quite invented one, Turi. partailly taken objects like that leaf don't ellay speak about wishes for "continuity", you know. They rather speak for overlooking such details in the emotionally loaded heat of the shooting moment - of the too quick surrendering to the own impression and of the too easy mental continuation of the frame in what the overall scene looked like to the photographer. But I, the spectator, wasn't there. I can only see your frame as an isolated rectangle of the real world which might have astonished you, but it can't astimish me if the composition doesn't do good.

Please, spare me such invented explanations, for no professional photographer would even pay attanetion to them. Just tell me that it just came this way, and it is OK.

Cheers!

Nick
