About went for a shallow depth of field to focus the eye on the bird as this is what Brian is looking at.
Not sure if it was a wise choice but i like the image.
Dont hold back tell me if you think its a waste of space

It is a wise choice to me, excellent b/w too.
Well done Keith.

Absolutely perfect choice... as is the title and your choice of b&w. Excellent in my humble opinion! 7++++

I like this series, the previous pigeon fancier I preferred to this one. This shot would benefit from a little more contrast.I like the appraising expression on the man's face.
Best regards, Tony

Actually I think its a waste of space.

Good focussing Keith however I would have liked to see more detail in his middle finger. The texture seems to have gone.More contrast might bring it back.

marky .

I like it too, Keith. The bird keeper is in focus just enough and the monochrome keeps the emphasis on the story itself. An excellent character portrait.:)

Excellent bw photo.
My best wishes
Nanda

Still getting good use out of that 10-20mm Sigma! This is a very imaginative use, and comes off pretty well. It'll be great if someone gives you the finger...
