Taken at the balcony of the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Simla, Himachal Pradesh, India. The building was viceregal lodge during the British rule in India, after independence it became Rashtrapati Niwas (Residence of the President of India); latter converted to Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. The primary objective of the Institute is to provide an environment suitable for academic research, in the humanities, and the social and natural sciences.
