About The Bison in Yellowstone sometimes prefer to walk on the roads of the park, making it a little difficult for passing vehicles. They are huge animals and very unpredictable, so passing so close can be a bit of a risk. This beast was walking slowly down the side of the road and of course every car that passed stopped for photographs. We stopped just behind this fellow for a better look and he turned and looked at us as if to say, "not another camera". He looked so fed up we smartly continued on our way, leaving him in peace. At least until the next vehicle came along.

Great shot of him, especially with the snow sticking to his fur, Ann!

Great shot Ann - Well posed! (I know you had everything to do with that!) The detail is very nice, and he did cooperate very nicely for you to get such a great angle and composition... Well done!

A nice set of pictures of the Bison in Yellowstone Ann.
An interesting about with this one. We have almost exactly the same situation with Moose here in Ontario. They often come out to lick the road salt on the roads in the winter. If they decide they are not going anywhere, there isn't a lot you can do about it. :)

This is my favourite of your bison shots. Again the details are wonderful and the tones so natural. What an experience you had on this trip and what a wonderful set of photographs you captured. Well done again to you Ann my dear friend. I will pop in again to see what you have been up to sweetie. Bye for now, take care of you. More HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGS and best wishes...Ray
