Thanks Franz, the colors were intense for about 10 minutes before the rising sun stole the colors away. The other picture I posted yesterday was a few miles away looking to the east. This one was close to my home as I was traveling to work. I was overtaken by the large solitary cloud owning all of the colors.

Thanks Dave, yes this was the decisive moment of color before the sun began to diminish the color levels to the blues of the sky and white and shadows of the clouds.

Thanks Shirley, I used some shadow/highlight adjustment on this but only to darken the colors and shadows a little. Out of camera was nice before the fine tune.

Thanks so much Nanda, so glad to share this one. It was a beautiful sky in the morning and it snowed where I was working in the mountains all day. When I got home it had not snowed there at all. Montana has some fast moving weather.

I think 4-5 months ı have. Before i used 5D.
I'm using generally 24-70mm f/2.8, 85mm f1.2 and 17-40mm f4.

I would love to have a 5D but have only been able to afford a 40D at this time. I am slowly building up my equipment. I have the 24-70mm f 2.8 that I got last fall. What a nice lens. Looking forward to more of your shots and your great attitude.

Thanks Eb, it was one of those fast changing mpments of light as the wind and sun were playing with the only cloud in the sky. I stopped and was able to catch it before the light was gone.
