John,
I really like the 2x exposure idea!
The blue flowers really distract me though.
Overall, not bad.

great colors.

All 3 of these Lush images are so captivating. Each one has a particular beauty. Lush 2 seems to balance detail (those magical water drops on the stem) with the drama of color. Lush 3 seems demanding and emphatic. Does the blue distract? Maybe. For me it is like the punctuation of an exclamation point. I feel compelled to explore like this...what a captivating world you are playing with.

Thanks Mary Sue! You are always so wonderful with your thoughts both good and bad. I find each persons likes and dislikes valuable. TJ not liking the blue is good feed back. I like it!

John, thanks, and I agree with you about each person's input having value...Tj's comment about the blue being distracting for him is important information as we all think about composition. The beauty of this site is that it allows us to see the world from the eyes of others!

It's interesting Mary Sue. I left photosig because it became a place of "NICE" "Great Shot" I honestly don't know what my Karma and other points are or even what they mean... Truly I don't care. I'm interested in feedback. I love the FRIENDS capability of this site. I usually go and check it first and add to my friends when I see someone who actually says something about anybody's work. In being very careful who I'm adding to my friends list I'm getting quality honest feedback. I'm also trying to add poeple who do different stuff than I so I can "see" differenly and expand my vision. You do an excellent job here, thank you. I'm always excited to see my "friends" new work!
