Dawna, thanks for the comment and Barry, in hindsight, I'm thinking it was wrong to evoke emotions through the title and comments. I believe it does impact one's tendency to be constructively critical. I like your idea of a series. I'll see if I can talk my wife into following her through this with camera in hand.

I think it is good if some photos just make a person "feel". So Steven I don't think you were wrong if your photo evoked emotions through the title. I thank you for sharing the photo and such a personal part of your life.
And... believe me, there are many people on here who will be brutally honest on how to improve the photo regardless of title and comments!

Beaautiful. My wide Dee called it a "triumphant" photo. I don't think it is ever wrong to reinforce an evoked feeling with words. I wish your wife the best.
Technical comment. Is the photo improved by cropping off the 2 flowers touching the bottom of the frame? Maybe or maybe not.

I think it's improved with the crop you suggested. I didn't think those two flowers were a distraction until they were eliminated. Thanks for the comments.

Stephen,I discovered you today through your winning photo. I usually don't see much of the main page,just a quick look to see if someone I know is there. But something attracted me and I decided to go through your portfolio.
I was stunned. It's the absolute perfection I saw and not only that...I saw the feelings,I felt the emotions raise in my heart.
