This flower has come alive with the light! Beautiful! Try cropping off 1/4th of the right side of the frame and see how you like it... I think it adds more power to the flower... *grin* Great job!

Thanks everyone! Alisa, what red spots? Do you mean those two tiny petals near the center? Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't yet understand it. Maybe I should clone myself another brain, lol.

Beautiful Mary...

You've shown everyone how it's done right. The quality of light is what makes any image. Red spots? Dunno either.

Mary,
Thanks for the comment on my pix of the day lily! No, I didn't use a tripod. I was on the way to my sons jazz band concert and wasn't planning on doing any shooting. If i could get shots like this one of yours, I would throw all of mine away! I love this pix, you did a great job! Again thanks for the comment.

Hi Mary :) long time no see, what a beautiful Image you have here, looks like you have been real busy, should call you the flower Lady :) , this one is very special though, super well done and seen, it demands that I look at it, and holds me, keeping my attention as I pour over the details, Love it Mary..

benjamin mati   {K:598} 4/13/2004
What a great shot. Beautiful. I might agree with Kim though. If that dark bottom right corner was cropped the colors would stand out more.

Bill Webster   {K:1669} 5/12/2004
Another of your fine photos. Great tone and color, especially as it looks like a painting.I'll be looking for more of your work.
