Hey, that is how my woman treats me too!
Very original, good colors and sharpness. My only nits would be that I would have liked to see more of the woman's face and the cropping at the left seems harsh to me. I think I would have prefered composing them more to the right and leaving his hand inside the frame. That way you have a more interested, less-centered composition IMO.

My gurl beats the crap out of me too... I totally agree with Jacob... the left side seems to be lacking and her face is a little hidden... but besides that it's a good capture

Not bad, and I agree with the comments about the woman's face. But couldn't you have found a different background? Those cooling towers seem really out of place, particularly since it looks like you've set this up to seem like a self-defense picture rather than a sporting one. The overall atmosphere just doesn't seem right.
