Nice skin tones. You have lost the detail in the hair on the left side with the darkening of the image. Don.

The hair detail wasn't important for this treatment. I'm not sure what I was trying to do but while experimenting this is where I ended up and I kinda liked it and thought I'd toss it out for opinions. Not too many it seems...

Always worth a try!

Hi Bob, I much prefer the other pose to this one. I like the colours in this one but the vignette is a bit heavy. Not sure it suits this candid type of portrait, but it is fun to experiment! I may actual try posting something here soon.

Well, what can I say? I was going through the effects palette and it seemed interesting at this point. I'm not much for "effects" but like to see what happens and I sorta liked how the face was "floating" in the composition but dark vignettes don't seem to work well with strong backlighting but I liked it less without the vignette for some reason. Back to the drawing board. Or is that spelled BORED? ;-)
