Although it does look a little like it's hovering in space, it's a captivating image. The drake is perfectly captured, especially the color, the wing motion, and the sharpness. Great shot.

I think this is wonderful Leslie, Your work is outstanding. Such a great idea to put this type of background with the lovely duck. It has such very nice sharpness along with great colors.
We have had a couple of windstorms here so haven't done much but clean up trees and branches. I am behind on my comments.

The background is indeed quite artificial, but it makes the duck into one of those educational posters - the prototypical drake. And what a duck it is!
