I like the expression of the guitar player in the middle. Excellent, Chris!

Walter Iglesias   {K:533} 7/6/2003
excellent. integrates all the elements.

Leslie Cohelan   {K:20887} 7/6/2003
So I question the rating on the composition, seems it should be highter...it is taken from a good low angle, framed well by both sides of the street, has an excellent dof and perspective...the only nit on the composition is the slight list to one side...just needs a nudge cw a degree or two...the image is sharp and the color is good...I like this image...captured 4 totally different expressions...excellent work

Because the eye moves, jumps and slides from one musician to another in a way similar to music, the rythm in this picture is really strong and pleasant, and it seems to me that variety obviously gives this photography interest and vitality, as the musicians are kinda repeated with enough changes or differences to enhance each other...

Leslie, I do not take straight pictures. My camera is crooked... :)

Dave Holland   {K:13044} 7/8/2003
Aw, Chris this is totally cool. The serious look of the two men at camera right is priceless. We take ourselves way too seriously. Another Blaszczyk look at the more colorful side of American culture; keep posting my friend.

I also took a shot of this same group of buskers! But, I like your angle better than mine! Nice shot Chris! Actually I adore your whole portfolio... :-)

Carol Watson   {K:5185} 7/13/2003
Oh... here's my shot on a different day and at a different angle. Like I mentioned in my previous comment -- your angle is more interesting than mine!
