NOW I know who you are, Ken -- I recognize this piece. I think you were about the only open-minded person I ran into on another site when I posted a "different" (not Popular Photography material)picture. Can't remember where or when, of course . . .
Anyway. I do like this. Nice blacks and good highlight detail where it's necessary (whiskers and snoot), great texture where it's necessary with the rest just going off into light is marvelous.
And, I might add, the brown you used for the word graphics is a perfect combination for the blue.

As a background for a graphic, like this, it works very well. The tint of blue, the blown out areas.. the super fine detail of the nose and whiskers... you did a great thing making this into more. And now you have a business card! *grin*
