Nice moody shot Roger. I like the textures and atmosphere. Hope you are enjoying your G5. Regards John

rocks my world. are there rocks this bald in the deep west
nice angle and composition. maybe an nd filter and loger exposure to soften the water and clouds may have provided a background to echo the smoothness of these time and tide testaments to the power of the soft and steady.
love your work tao

Exceptional seascape. The burning of the clouds and the beach is perfect -- it draws the eye toward infinity and the volcanic outcropping on the horizon. IMO, the only distraction is the light red (lens flare?) discoloration at the extreme right. A magnificent job... off to look at some more!

Very real and very Surreal. (Sounds conflicting? Can't help.)Regards.

Roger, wonderful image. Great sky, great colors. The minor constuctive comment I would is it's a shame you got a little lens flare on the bottom right and too bad there are what look like footprints in the foreground. A little Photoshop might be able to handle both.

Abeer Al Jarsh   {K:10209} 7/11/2003
Superb sky ... colors

Tom Vadnais   {K:973} 7/11/2003
Very good capture, but I agree the footprints and glare lessen its impact. Since the sky was so interesting, I wonder if it might have been better to include more sky and less beach. I've included a crop to lose the footprints and glare, and to accentuate more of the sky. I'm not sure it's an improvement, but it's another idea.

Rena Tsiflidou   {K:2606} 7/11/2003
Very good!
