Love the blue tone, well done, Jim!

Blue cacti....no of course you can't touch them, Jim! They have the sharpest needles of all cacti...
;)

this is a very good composition, with the three horizontal layers: cacti, mountains, sky. In the original color it would probably not have been as catchy as it is now.

Wicked Cool....

Jim; I like cacti, and this blue treatment is kind of cool-- and I rated it well, but I can't help but wonder what the original looks like? These look like Prickley Pears, and in this composition, I bet the original is even better?-- wel IMHO. You seem to be presently into Blue?

Hi Craig and Marion:

I don't want you spending sleepness nights wondering what the original prickly pears look like. Here's a link to the color version (along with 47 other images, so be patient) -- . Thanks for your interest. Best, Jim

Hmmm link vanished... very interesting.

For the cacti affictionadios, here's the original in all it's prickly glory. BTW, the cactus I REALLY want to avoid in the future is the tube variety. I backed into one recently while wearing Tevas and spent the rest of the afternoon with a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass.

Cool blue Jim. Looks very unworldly that colour.
