About I though this would be neat for the egg project... Make a pinhole in an egg shell and glue it to the inside of an egg carton (which would be the camera) then take a photo of an egg on my front doorstep. This was a hard task due to light leaks but after lots of Black tape and wrapped in a black T-shirt I pulled this one off. Making the pinhole in an eggshell was the hard part. I went through about 10 shells to get a round small hole. I think it turned out alright for what it is...If you look behind the egg you can see my front door. Egg colored green in Photoshop for all the Dr. Seuss lovers out there!!! This Image was not scanned but rather I took a digital picture of the 3.5 x 5 photo paper negative with my Sony f707 on macro mode then uploaded it to photoshop where I inverted it. I now have a scanner so I will not have to go about this way any longer....WOO HOO!!!

Terry, Great image! The shirt makes for a very interesting view! The green egg? Ha! Love it! Great work!

Terry McCully   {K:9221} 7/16/2003
Thanks Gregory but the black around the edges is not my t-shirt but rather the outside hits of egg carton that was close to the pinhole.

Nice work! I love it. How in the world do you think of these things? And, what did you do with all the eggs - that must have been some omelette. I'm amazed at how clear your pinhole pictures are turning out. I'll be keeping track of your entries!

Welcome Terry... are you the same Terry i met at SIG? I look forward to seeing your new work, and maybe a few of the old to share. This like most your work is very creative... well done.

Terry, your pinhole photography work is astounding. I adore this simple yet highly effective composition - the slight tone on the egg shell makes a world of difference here for me.

What a hoot! Love the story that goes along with the pic. You have too much time on your hands, but what a great result.

Jim McNitt   {K:11246} 7/17/2003
Totally eggocentric. Plus a wonderful account of the trials and tribulations of eggography.

your ideas are really cool, man. Next time you make two holes, one for black and white and one for the green egg :)

Gaetan Chevalier   {K:4188} 7/21/2003

superneat - the image itself is great enough but added to how you achieved it makes it a rare pleasure.. - eggtastic

What an effort and what a result! I find green eggs to be the most delicious ones in the wicked world. Great work, Terry!

"I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you, thank you, Sam-I-am!"

Love this, and what a camera. Have you tried out that Holga yet? It might be too simple for you, as you sound like you like a challenge.

OH MY GOD. Now if this is not one of your most unique pinhole shots yet, I don't know what is. Where do I begin? To make a pinhole in an egg shell first of all must be quite hard. Then to use the egg box to make the camera body is another unique idea. Where do you come up with these creations? This one will score a perfect 7 out of 7 in all fields from me. I can not get over the clear picture this camera took. I can see the egg and then I can see the bottom of your front door and all the wood that makes up the step. I can not stop looking at this shot. My wife is also speachless looking over my shoulder here with me. This is one of the most creative egg shots in the whole project. Keep the fab ideas comming.

Aaah... again, so creative! And excellent result! I really feel like if I would be a tiny little insect or something viewing this!

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 6/6/2005
Excellent - full points for creativity and effort.
