About Thirty-second time exposure of Church Yard after a snow fall. Multiple strobes used to "paint" trees and building. PS manipulations include desaturation, colorization, liquify, and layer masking. Comments appreciated.

Has a surreal look.Good title as it does give me a sense of silence.

Jim, Good use of light! The snow and the blue, and knowing it gets cold here in NY, does instill the feeling of silence. Great work!

I don't suppose you have a version of this without liquefy? I like the light and the comp - especially like the detail of the cross on the gate - the swirly trees just don't seem to quiet fit the peaceful mood that I get from this image...

Hi Mary:
Here's the original unmanipulated scene. Don't worry about gamma. You can happily grow old and enjoy grandchildren without knowing anything more than you already do. :-) jim

Hey again Jim...this one looks great! Very dreamy looking photo here. I seen the original unmanipulated scene and I think you know far more than I do about Photoshop. Great work on this very cool shot...

Jim, this colouration gives it a hauntingly beautiful mood.

I love the silence... and the depth in it. Thank you.

I like the colours and they indeed do give it a haunting appeal, but I am not to sure about the use of liquify, I really would have preferred it with that, but it is a very appealing image and has charm - Richard.
