The positioning of the boy right up in the top left is different but does work, the contrast has been handled extremely well, again the blue tone works well. A nice picture Jim, very well done - Richard.

fun comp and good texture - I think the reason this works so well as an unusual cromp is the various lines and textures running through the photo...

I like the fact that this looks like some surreal landscape...almost like another planet....and I like the placement of the boy swimming....all lines lead to the subject. Well done.

Fantastic capture and treatment. I agree with Mary, the multiple lines make this really interesting. Shot in QC? Incidentally, the "Washing Windows" image was shot in Ottawa. Cheers!
